A little history: Front 40 Press started as a collaborative eBook podium—-a vehicle to bring together the friends around us-people who we feel have something to offer to the rest of the world. Whether artists, wordsmiths, activists, or those who manage to effect their surroundings in some way or another, we wanted to give them an avenue to speak and be heard; to share and to grow: to cultivate and communicate ideas.

What matters most is the cultivation and communication of ideas.

What came from these collaborations turned out, in our minds, to be too good to merely end up as a virtual body of work. Because of our belief in the idea that if we find something to be valuable, interesting, thought-provoking, or entertaining, there will be others that feel the same way, we invested in turning these projects into something tangible. So here we are, 2 years into it, with 7 books you can hold in your hands. We hope you value them as we do.
